I didn’t think I would like this book, the cover has me scared that is was a May/December relationship to a disturbing extreme. I was pleasantly surprised that the age gap was only 9 years which isn’t so bad and though the younger of the two is only 19 (which at first icked me out) he is older than his years. Tristan may be young but he is brilliant and has been helping raise his brothers and sister after his father died and his mother distanced herself a bit due to grief. So yes there were a lot of things that made me squirm as borderline illegal but the author made it work with only the end being angsty and emo.Oh and I would NEVER get a tattoo of anyone other than a child on my body and even that to me feels like bad luck!
