One of my favorite movies is The Man From Snowy River so I was so excited about this book.I mean what could be wrong with a yummy smex book with Aussies in the Outback?Well fuck.This was very unsexy...the romance was forced and unbelievable even ridiculous at times. It got to the point where I spoke out loud to my kindle asking it if it was kidding me.(They say its healthy to talk to yourself, I don't know who "they" are but it doesn't really matter because I was talking to my kindle)Finally the last nail in the bad romance coffin was the Yaoi factor. I really, really am beginning to hate the "top" and "bottom" roles in mm books...so stop.I mean it, STOP.It's not sexy having the "top" be all manipulative and controlling and having the "bottom" being all its okay cause he luuuuuuurves me.Yeah Fuck that I see enough of that shit in YA, I don't need to see it in adult books.On a lighter note the base story wasn't that bad, I might even say it would have been pretty good if the horrible romance didn't drag it down.
