First off I want to say that this book would have been a four star read if not for a large dialog scene that jarred me out of the story. This was very annoying because the story is really fun.Carey Gayle is not a human to be messed with, ask his shifter band mates they will tell you. Raised by a father that lives and breaths the Special Forces, Carey is quite capable of taking care of himself, and his family. I believe this is why I didn’t have an issue with this being yaoi style, because Carey is such a strong character you know it is what he wants. So in saying this, I have to say that his is one of my favorite human/shifter stories, I just wished the dialog was a bit more polished before print.
