Fire bad, tree pretty!
No Tea No Shade - Stephani Hecht Nothing like jumping in the deep end, I didn’t know this was part four in a series when I requested it from NetGalley. This was an blunt short story about depression, suicide, abuse, and trust. I really enjoyed it, especially the realness of it. Nobody was perfect, there were mistakes made, and consequences for those mistakes.I like Devlin a lot, his attitude and gruff demeanor hiding a compassionate young man that will go to great lengths to protect what is important to him.I love the scene with Andy’s mother, priceless.
