Fire bad, tree pretty!
A Reason To Believe - Diana Copland I really enjoyed this book, it was a wonderful blend of mystery and romance. The mystery wasn’t over done, and the killer wasn’t pulled out of thin air, but still had me guessing. This is very important to me, I grew up on mysteries, they are my mom's preferred genre, so we spent a lot of time together watching them. So I have a very good knack for picking out the killer early on in the book, which sometimes can ruin a mediocre story. The romance was well done as well, it was slow and sweet with actually learning about your partner, and maybe making a few mistakes along the way, but there was no insta-love. I also loved the ghost story aspect, they are a guilty pleasure for me. There is nothing like having a child ghost get pissed off at you for not moving fast enough and wrecking your shit in a blast of poltergeist rage!Thank you Net Galley and Carina Press.
