You know those books that aren't bad, but they seem to last forever? Like maybe the author loved their characters a bit too much and wouldn’t let go? This was one of those books. The book was okay up until about 68%, then it started drag on, and on. I finally got the drive to push on last night and finish it, and the book over all was just meh.I really liked Ben, though the over use of Minnesota slang did get old. I get it that he was from there, but there are only so many times that I can read “you betcha”, and not want to chuck my kindle across the room.I also got to really dislike Adrian by the ending, what he did to Ben was really shitty.If I was Ben I would have told him to fuck off, but that’s just me!
